Hi, I’m Annikka!

The baker behind Manna & Mill. I’ve always loved the idea of making things at home, but after I got married, I really began diving into baking. I wanted to know exactly what ingredients were going into our food and to nourish my family in the best way possible.

I still remember my very first loaf — it turned out great, even though I forgot to add salt. What stuck with me wasn’t perfection, but the joy of creating something simple, wholesome, and good. Over time, baking became more than a hobby; it became my way of caring for others. I love going to gatherings and bringing bread, watching people who once struggled with store-bought bread light up when they taste the difference of freshly milled flour. It’s in those moments that I realized: I want everyone to experience this.

Wholesome by Necessity,
Nourishing by Design

Our family eventually switched to freshly milled flour when my husband began to have small health struggles. I wanted our baked goods to be not only delicious but nourishing, and milling my own flour gave me peace knowing we were getting the full goodness of the grain. Now, every loaf, cookie, and pretzel I make is made from scratch, the old-fashioned way — nothing harsh, nothing stripped away.

Sustained by the Source

The name Manna & Mill carries deep meaning for me. In the Bible, manna was God’s daily provision — given in just the right amount, enough to sustain, reminding His people to depend on Him fully. That’s how I see this business: a daily reminder that God is my provider and sustainer. And the mill? That’s the heart of what I do: taking the whole wheat berry and using every part, keeping the process simple and true.

My faith is at the center of everything. Before starting this business, I sought the Lord, and I know that if Manna & Mill rests in His hands, then it’s exactly where it needs to be.

Outside of baking, I love serving in ministry as a worship leader and cherishing time with my family. No matter the setting — at church or at the oven — my purpose is the same: to honor the Lord and serve others with joy.

So, welcome to
Manna & Mill

where every loaf is made with care, prayer, and the hope that it brings warmth to your table, just as it does to mine.
